When Dave Grohl, the drummer of Nirvana, released his one-man record in 1995, it skyrocketed into what is known as Foo Fighters today, an international rock band legacy. Named after aerial phenomena, like UFOs and the“foo fighter” aircrafts of WWII, the FooFighters grew from one talented man into a rock band playing in the Pacific Northwest. Over 20 years later, the Foo Fighters now lay claim to four Best Rock Album Grammy awards and have sold over 12 million albums.
